Johnny Fean tells us about Coconut Grove (It's a Lovin Spoonful song
from the 60's)
" I
first recorded that song 30 yrs. ago! Around 1981. It was an acoustic solo
version of the song. I recorded it in a Slane studio with Eamon Carr
producing. We had an idea to record an acoustic album. We didn't take it
far enough to complete it. But there were some other original
acoustic songs I had written along with Eamon including a solo
version of ''I never talk about her''. This was long before the Last
Bandits project in 1985 when we again recorded it".
